Welcome to the Equity Center at 91直播! We aim to create an inclusive space where all students can thrive and succeed.  We are the home to four programs: Arise, Dream, First Peoples Native Center, and NextUp/REACH.

 

    • ARISE IconArise
      Arise is a community of students from diverse cultures coming together to lift up one another and rise above all sorts of challenges to reach their fullest potential. An Asian American and Pacific Islander student support service, we have a dedicated support team empowering Arise students to achieve success academically and personally.     • DREAM iconDream
      The Dream 91直播 provides support services to DREAMers (undocumented students) at 91直播 (Mt. 91直播). Its purpose is to increase the personal growth and development of DREAM students through academic, career, and personal counseling; peer mentoring; assistance in applying for the California Dream Act/Financial Aid and scholarship opportunities (TheDream.US); and workshops regarding DACA and other issues relevant to this student population.     • FPNC logoFirst Peoples Native Center

      Through the efforts of Native students, faculty, and administrators, the First Peoples Native Center (FPNC) was created in order to raise awareness of the contributions and continued presence of Native American and Indigenous peoples of the region. FPNC serves our diverse Native and Indigenous student populations by preparing them to become lifelong learners, providing access to support services to increase retention and successful transition rates, creating traditional and culturally relevant programming, and guiding students to career paths that will enable them to enrich their lives and the lives of their communities.     • REACH IconNextUp/REACH

      NextUp/REACH is an educational program designed to assist current and former foster youth. NextUp/REACH provides assistance in the areas of academic, personal, interpersonal, professional, and life skills to our foster youth students during their transition into college, while at Mt. 91直播, and as they graduate or transfer to a university.     • CBCSS LogoThe Center for Black Culture and Student Success

      The mission of the Center for Black Culture and Student Success is to foster an environment of holistic learning, to attain academic success, cultural enrichment, and personal and professional development for all members of the Black/African diaspora at Mt.       El Centro, The Center for Latinidad, provides collaborative programming at Mt. 91直播 and outside partners. We serve to support, educate, and assist the community in gaining a sense of awareness and cultural wealth. We honor, celebrate, and explore the diverse cultural roots within Latinidad.       The Mt. 91直播 Pride Center is a resource center and lounge space serving the LGBTQ+ community of 91直播.

      Our mission is to foster an affirming environment for people across the gender and sexuality identity spectrums where the LGBTQ+ community can come together to:

      • Learn about and celebrate ourselves, our communities, and our intersectionalities.
      • Find support and resources to be the best version of ourselves (in our academic, social, professional, and internal lives).
