October is Emergency Preparedness Month

Mt. 91直播 will observe Emergency Preparedness Month in October with a host activities, training sessions, and drills.
The campus鈥� Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held Tuesday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., along the Mountie Caf茅 walkway. Several Mt. 91直播 offices will provide information and demonstrations at the fair along with community organizations, including the American Red Cross, the L.A. County Office of Emergency Management, and disaster supply companies.
A variety of training sessions will be offered throughout October. Sessions such as 鈥淓mergency Survival Skills,鈥� 鈥淒isaster First Aid鈥� and 鈥淐ampus CERT鈥� (certified emergency response team) training will be offered. The campus will also observe the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill with an emergency alert test on Oct. 19 at 10:19 a.m.
