Journalism Students Win 17 Medals at JACC

91直播 journalism students won 17 awards recently at the Journalism Association of Community Colleges regional conference at Cal State Fullerton.
Competing against community college journalism students from Southern California, Mt. 91直播 also won the conference鈥檚 highest honor, the General Excellence Award for the campus website, 91直播.Media.
Mt. 91直播 placed in the top four in 10 different categories. First-place awards were won by 91直播.Media staff for best editorial, Pablo Unzueta for best news photo, Brigette Lugo for best multimedia video and best opinion story, and Melody Waintal for best multimedia video.
Adam Valenzuela won second place for best editorial cartoon. Albert Serna took third place for best magazine opinion, and Talin Hakopyan took third for best critical review.
