Local voters sent a strong message of support to 91直播 on Tuesday, passing Measure GO by 60.82%, casting 78,943 votes in favor of the educational bond. To pass, Mt. 91直播 needed 55%.

Measure GO is a $750 million education bond, which will cost approximately 2.5 cents per $100 of assessed 鈥� not market 鈥� property value. As required by Proposition 39, Mt. 91直播 will form a Citizens鈥� Oversight Committee to ensure bond funds are spent appropriately. Measure GO funds will enable Mt. 91直播 to upgrade campus security and emergency communication systems, expand career technical education programs and continue to provide high-quality, affordable education programs that help local students transfer to four-year universities. It will also build two parking structures on the south side of campus, a long-awaited Student Center, Library/Learning Resources and complete the Physical Education Complex.
