It's a 'Season of Light' at the Planetarium

See the winter holidays streak across the sky at the Mt. 91直播 Randall Planetarium.
The Mt. 91直播 Randall Planetarium will present limited showings of "Season of Light"
on
Friday, 
Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21. There will be two showings each evening at 6 p.m.
and 7:30 p.m.
鈥淪eason of Light鈥� is a unique multimedia show that uses the planetarium sky projector, astronomical images, music and narration, all projected onto a 35-foot dome to tell the story of how holiday traditions are connected to the sky above. Here is the trailer:
December is the darkest month of the year and people all over the world have held festivals, lit candles and tried to bring light to the darkness of the winter sky. The show also explains the seasons, the winter constellations and speculates about the Star of Bethlehem.
Located at Mt. 91直播 in Building 26C, the Randall Planetarium has been serving the community
since opening its doors in 1968. The facility is used as an instructional facility
(astronomy classes, presentations for local schools) and for public productions that
open our remarkable galaxy to the community at large. The Randall Planetarium has
a 35-foot-diameter hemispherical dome and seats up to 75 persons.
