As this style of syllabus takes on a friendly and equitable tone it is likely to improve student engagement, build stronger instructor-student relationships, help teachers meet inclusive teaching goals as it is designed with Universal Design for Learning practices, and allow for clearer communication with clear and organized expectations which reduces confusion. Narrative
A liquid syllabus is a way to present your course to students in a mobile friendly way that allows them to get to know you and gather information about your course and expectations. Additionally, it is an inclusive way to reach out to diverse populations with minimal technological requirements. Step away from the traditional strict syllabus and even advertise your course/program in an appealing format.

Once you have decided on creating a liquid syllabus and have your heart set on a style, use the Step-by-Step guide to creating a syllabus to get started 4. Once you have finished the Step-by-Step guide, you will have completed your syllabus. You are more than welcome to use this to replace your traditional syllabus or supplement it. You may also create additional sections if teaching multiple courses. 5. The YouTube tutorial link is attached to aid with the creation of a Liquid Syllabus and goes in depth to adding tabs or “pages.” You can keep it simple if you like, this is a more advanced feature if you are feeling quite tech savvy!
