      Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts is part of the college's emergency notification system. It sends messages via text message, voice call, and email. Messages are also posted to the college's main Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as RSS feeds. Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts may also trigger building lights, sirens and message boards.

      Mt. 91Ö±²¥ students and employees are automatically opted-in to receive emergency messages. HOWEVER, this is dependent on the college having your emergency contact information.

    • When do you send Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts? 
      Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts  are reserved for emergency situations and testing each Fall and Spring. Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts are sent when an immediate safety issue has been determined by the Senior Police Administrator on Duty, President, or Administrator in Charge. They then work with the Office of Marketing and Communication to release a Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alert. These are powered by a popular emergency notification system called Rave Alert. 
    • Why do you send to so many media channels?
      Emergency notifications are sent to numerous channels to ensure messages are received. There are situations, such as after an earthquake, where some channels will be down or unavailable. 
    • What does it cost to receive Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts?
      Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts are free, however, standard text message and data rates apply.
    • How can community members receive emergency information?

      There is an option to receive Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts via text message. When signing up for Mt. 91Ö±²¥ Alerts this way, you will only receive text messages and not voice calls or emails. Standard text message and data rates apply. Text MT91Ö±²¥ALERT to 226787 (CAMPUS) to opt-in. To opt out text STOP to 226787 (CAMPUS).
