Articulation Agreements

During the 2002-2003 school year, the college revised the articulation policies for secondary programs. The most significant change was the removal of the twelve-unit residency requirement, which allows the college to award articulated college credit at the completion of the student secondary course.

In education, articulation is considered to be a systematic process that will permit students to move from one program, course, or educational level to the next without loss of time or resources. Once a student has obtained subject area competencies, they should be allowed to continue to a higher level, minimizing needless duplication and reducing educational costs.
